Vic and Jery Interview part 1, Star Runner and Newsflash!

(note: The interpreter talked in tagalog most of the time. Kris did
sometimes too. Guess they talked in taglish.)

Jerry and Vic enters the room with their entourage. Jerry and Vic
puts on mic.

Start of interview:
Everyone claps including Jerry and Vic.

Kris: Yes! We've waited for this for so long and now we finally have
the two of you together. Welcome to Manila.
Jerry: Hello
Vic: Thank you, thank you. (whispering)

Both were smiling. Vic was sorta hunched up and was hesitant to look
at Kris.

Kris: Are you shy?
Jerry: (looks at Vic while smiling) Very, very shy.
Kris: Or is he just pretending to be shy?
Jerry: Yeah... everytime. (looks at Vic again while smiling)

Kris laughs.

Kris: Let's start off with Jerry because you were here just two weeks
ago, right? And you really really connected so well with the fans and
I was told that you just came from Beijing and the fans there were
also so warm to you... you even had tears in your eyes, is that true
because you're very touched?
Jerry: Oh, uh... (sorta smiling, then talks to the interpreter in
Chinese)
Interpreter: Very touched. He was very touched because of the fans
that's why he cried.
Kris: How many fans were there?
Jerry: Uh, ah... two... (then speaks in Chinese)
Interpreter: Two-three thousand.
Kris: Wait, was it in a mall or outdoors?
Jerry: Yeah, yeah... in a mall... (makes hand gesture)
Kris: I'm going to ask Vic now because people say deep down inside
you're really funny... (Jerry ,smiling, looks at Vic and talks to him
in Chinese. Guess he's translating. Vic sorta made a heheh sound.)
Barbie said last night, inside you're a joker, so is that true that
you really have a good sense of humor but you just try to hide it?

Vic's smiling and talks to the interpreter in Chinese.

Interpreter: That's true that he's a joker, he's funny.

Jerry looking at the interpreter while smiling.

Kris: Is it also true that you really weren't interested to go into
showbusiness?

Jerry talks to the interpreter in Chinese (answers for Vic).

Interpreter: At first, he really didn't wanna enter the entertainment
industry but because of some events that happened, he joined the
entertainment industry and he's lucky that his career is successful.

Jerry smiling while looking at the interpreter. Vic laughs and covers
his mouth.

Kris: Jerry, why were you the one answering for him?
Jerry: Uh... ah... (guess he was lost for words, smiling... didn't
know what to say... looks at interpreter and Kris...)
Kris: You're that close (interpreter says something) or he's just so
shy?
Jerry: He's just scared to speak in English so... (then talks in
Chinese to the interpreter)
Interpreter: Because he's afraid to talk in English that's why he's
the one answering for him.
Kris: Is he like your big brother now? Are you that close?
Jerry: Uh-huh... (talks to interpreter in Chinese)
Interpreter: Good friends. They're just good friends.
Kris: Are you closest to him? Among the four of you, the two of you
are the most bonded?
Jerry: ahhhh.... (then speaks in Chinese)
Interpreter: Same treatment... there's no closest... they're all
friends.
Kris: Are you aware that here in the Philippines, there is a rivalry
between the two of them because of the story in Meteor Garden?

Jerry talks to the interpreter in Chinese.

Interpreter: They know.
Kris: So, who do you think is better looking, you or him?
Jerry: Him... (pointing at Vic)
Kris: Oh really... (sorta giggling)
Jerry: of course, yeah... (has a cute expression oh his face, sorta
smiling playfully)
Kris: What about you Vic? Do you think you're better-looking?

Jerry smiling.

Vic: uhhh... (then, talks to the interpreter in Chinese)
Jerry tries to raise Vic's hand up but Vic puts it down... and sorta
pats Jerry's shoulder.

Interpreter: Ok, it's ok that it's him.
Kris: Are you gonna play any musical instruments or just singing?
Jerry: Just singing (makes hand gesture like holding mic)
Kris: Dancing? cause you dance really well...
Jerry: uhhhh... I want to but... too tired... I can't... I'm... I'm
not ready... now...
Kris: Why? Where did you come from before here?
Jerry speaks in Chinese.... then says "rehearsal"
Interpreter: He's extremely tired cause he just finished shooting his
movie Magic Kitchen.
Kris: That was the one shot in Hong Kong?
Jerry: Yeah, in Hong Kong... (looking at Kris with a cute smile while
nodding) Japanese...

Interpreter begins to talk but Kris interrupts her and talks to Jerry
again.

Kris: Wait, (signals to interpreter to stop talking) Japanese? Also
in Japan? You shot in Japan?
Interpreter: They shot in Japan.
Kris: Wow. So, in Hong Kong and Japan... two locations?!
Jerry: (nods) uh-uh...
Interpreter: Too tired, no practice, lack of rehearsal... hope next
time when he comes back, he wants to perform more.
Kris: What about Vic, the show finished airing already. So, are you
working on something like a new film or a new TV series?

Interpreter talks to them. Jerry speaks in Chinese (I guess answering
for Vic again)

Vic says something in Chinese, like one word only, nods and smiles
(like he's agreeing to what Jerry said).

Kris: Vic, I'm getting very sad because you don't wanna talk to me.
(she laughs) I'm nice.

Jerry sorta nudged Vic's knee with his knee and looks at Vic. Vic
talks to interpreter in Chinese. Jerry tries to get Vic's attention
by touching his arm. Vic's talking to the interpreter, then turns his
head...
Jerry to Vic: just look here... (then he used his hands to indicate
Kris is there) I think Vic said Oh yeah... then Vic and Jerry looked
at each other, Jerry smiles...

Kris: No, he doesn't even wanna look at me. No look, no talk.

(They were all talking at the same time at this point.)

(Kris talking to Jerry and the interpreter talking to Vic)

Kris: Is he really like that?
Jerry: Yeah... (nods and smiles)

(Vic talking to the interpreter in Chinese)

Jerry: (looks at Vic) shy...
Interpreter: Vic's shy/embarassed because his English is not ok,
that's why he doesn't wanna talk.
Kris: But we don't care! (Jerry smiles and looks at Kris and nods.)
Even if you don't speak good English it's ok.

Vic: (says something in Chinese)
Interpreter: Cause he's always half-beat slow that's why he can't
answer right away.

Vic smiling.

Kris: Ah, Ok.

Tomorrow's teaser:
Kris: Jerry, cause you seem so much more comfortable, is it
because... did you always wanna be a star? Ever since you were very
young, did you always wanna get into showbusiness? Cause with him it
was an accident, right? (Jerry nods and says yeah.) So, but with you,
was it a childhood dream?

Jerry may have a chance to work with Korean star Ming
Shi Bin in a new movie

Korean beauty Ming Shi Bin may fall in love with Jerry
in a new movie "Xue Zi". Japanese female star Mi Cang
Liang Zi will act as Jerry's sister. "Xue Zi" is
scheduled to start filming end of this mth. The whole
movie will be filmed in Japan, and will screen next yr
in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong etc.

As there are a lot of movie offers waiting for Jerry,
his management company says they'll decide after
reading thru "Xue Zi" script.
